B&B Contracting GroupWith over 60 years of industry experience and expertise in Heavy Civil, Industrial and Municipal Infrastructure projects
B&B Contracting Group began in 1948 in Surrey as a trucking company. The evolution from trucking, gravel sales, aggregate production to diking, road-building and utility contracting brought a name change in 1981 to B&B Contracting Ltd. and Fraser Valley Aggregates Ltd. In 1997 A&A Testing Ltd was formed as a Water Testing and CCTV Inspections company. In 2006 B&B acquired Neelco Construction Ltd. which in turn became the basis for our Heavy Civil Division. Ekset Excavations & Shoring Ltd. was added in 2013.
B&B Contracting Group is a Union Contractor and is in good standing with the Construction and General Labourers Union, the International Union of Operating Engineers and the Teamsters Union. Our skilled labour force is augmented with a large equipment fleet including excavators, dozers, all terrain haul units, gravel trucks, and compaction equipment. To maintain diversity and to be on the leading edge of the underground utility industry B&B is active in trenchless technology, CCTV inspection and pipe rehabilitation.
B&B Contracting Group has maintained a leadership role in a very competitive civil construction market due to the dedication, loyalty, effort, skills and training of its employees. By maintaining a consistent volume of work B&B is able to maintain a core of well trained, experienced field personnel, many of who have been with the company for more than 20 years. In summary, B&B Contracting Group is capable and has a reputation for bringing projects to completion on schedule and on budget.
Ownership of the company remains private and controlling interest in the company remains with the Bailey family as it has since 1948.
