About this Project
B&B Contracting is currently delivering a major water infrastructure upgrade in the Kennedy Heights–Newton area of Surrey. The project involves the installation of over 1 km of large-diameter welded steel watermain through dense urban corridors with limited laydown and staging space.
Key components include:
- Deep excavations (6 to 10 metres) for utility installation
- Installation of double lap welded steel pipe (approx. 1829 mm diameter)
- Construction of cast-in-place and pre-fabricated chambers and appurtenances
- Coordination of air valve and blowdown chamber installations
- Strict work sequencing and traffic management to maintain public safety and access
