Langley Advance Times: Contractor Builds Community By Supporting Local Causes
We recently matched a $10,000 staff-led donation to the Langley and Surrey Christmas bureaus, bringing our total contribution to $20,000 in support of local children and families. These organizations play a vital role in bringing joy and relief during the holidays, and we are proud to support the important work they do in our community.
Langley Advance Times: One-Way Construction At Halfway Point In Langley City
We were proud to see our one-way reconstruction project in Langley City reach its halfway mark, with phase one completed on time. Local business groups commended us for delivering the work on schedule and on budget while keeping strong communication with businesses throughout the process.
Surrey Leader: Area Contractor Using Social Media Campaign To Help Langley And Surrey Food Banks
We launched a social media campaign to raise awareness and donations for food banks in Langley and Surrey. Through this effort, we helped increase support for critical services delivering food assistance to families in need in our communities.
Journal of Commerce: Surrey High-Schoolers Fast Track Into Apprentice Roles
We partnered with LIUNA Local 1611 to launch a pilot program that fast-tracked ten high school graduates from Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary into Level 1 construction apprenticeships. Through 120 hours of classroom and hands-on training, we helped these students gain a head start in civil construction while supporting the growth of our industry’s future workforce.

In partnership with the Surrey School Train In Trades program and LiUNA 1611, we supported 10 students in their journey to become a level 1 Construction Craft Worker. Our Operations Manager, Peter Mihalech, details how his own career has developed through experience, education and grit.,

Construct Connect: B&B Wins Early Works Contract For Skytrain Extension
City of Surrey Mayor, Doug McCallum, announced our contract for the Surrey-Langley Skytain Extension Early Works project. The construction contract includes widening Fraser Highway to four lanes with cycling and pedestrian facilities and a widened centre median to accommodate the upcoming SkyTrain work. Works consist of road widening, concrete curbs, sidewalks, multi-use paths, retaining walls, street lighting, traffic signals, a wildlife culvert, fish passage improvements and in-stream works
